M3 Group was called to action by our client Michigan State University Federal Credit Union to create a series of commercials and billboards to tell the stories of community organizations, highlight their work and reveal how MSUFCU has helped them achieve their big dreams in the community. The campaign needed to highlight MSUFCU’s more than 84 years in the industry helping members, employees and communities achieve their goals in business and life.
The stories would serve to educate the community on the resources available through MSUFCU to advance their individual pursuits.
We set out to create a tone that was empowering and inspirational, cinematic, and luxurious for the #dreamBIG campaign, with the first in the series being a community-focused general awareness project.
We began with mood boards to identify our message, target audience and the general tone that would be cohesive across the campaign.
The project involved many resources on our part, from concept to creation — with copywriting design, videography, voice-over, editing and animation. A project of this size takes total team effort. There is so much more to come as we continue with this series. But we are pleased to share our initial results.
This campaign assets included:
A #dreamBIG logo, which will be used consistently across the campaign.
Cardboard cutout mockupswill be used as part of the campaign and tie in with some excitingNIL (name, image and likeness)projects as part of the continuing campaign.
Outdoor billboard mockups match the same tone and feel of the video assets for a cohesive message.
Digital ads will be shared on the client’s website to align with this robust, community–focused project.
And finally, the campaign will be supported by a series of artfully created radio and television ads.
